NZT Logistics & Petroleum was founded on a simple principle: when you see an opportunity to do things better, you have the courage to act on it.
Before starting NZT, Daniël spent nearly a decade working in the diesel distribution industry. During those years, he gained extensive experience, developed a deep understanding of the fuel sector, and built strong relationships within the industry. However, he also saw opportunities for improvement and envisioned a business that would place customer service, reliability, and operational excellence at the centre of everything it did.
In 2020, after careful consideration and with the encouragement of a trusted friend and business partner, Daniël and his wife, Natacha, made the life-changing decision to establish their own company. It was a leap of faith, supported by the belief that hard work, integrity, and exceptional service could build something meaningful.
In January 2021, NZT officially began operations from a home office with a single truck and a borrowed diesel storage tank. Just one month later, the company secured its first diesel delivery contract, marking the beginning of a remarkable growth journey.
The early days were built on dedication, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to customer service. As demand increased, NZT expanded its team, invested in additional vehicles, and steadily grew its footprint across the region.
Like many entrepreneurial journeys, the road was not without challenges. Through perseverance, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement, NZT overcame early setbacks and emerged stronger, refining its processes and strengthening the foundation of the business.
